Infection

When a microbe harms a person after entering their body, an infection happens.

The microorganism lives off of that person's body and reproduces and colonises there.

These pathogenic tiny organisms are contagious and reproduce swiftly. Pathogens include, for instance, bacteria, viruses, and fungi.

They can spread by a variety of routes, such as:

skin contact, body fluid transmission, contact with excrement, consumption of tainted food or water, inhalation of airborne particles, and touching an object that a person harbouring the disease has also touched.
